Originally the tap house for the castle hotel, the castle inn opened in 1823, it later became the village and then buffalo Bill’s until 1997 it changed to Cassidy’s.
John our landlord came to run it when it was only 2 weeks old and hes been with the pub ever since, and bought it out right in 2004.
John and his partner Zoe now run it with a few of their children who can be found behind the bar serving and glass collecting.
We all welcome you to our pub, so pop down for a drink or a bite to eat to say hello!
